SADIE...by g.l. parker

Book One

Out of the headlines and into your heart...

Got my fingers crossed I am about to sign a contract for my latest book! Hopefully, my words to God's ears, a media packages will be going out in the near future with the release date, title and synopsis, but until the ink dries on the contract, and it is signed, sealed and delivered, I'm too scared to jinx it and for now, it's hush hush. But please check back for the title and a pre-order date especially set up for all of you, my loyal readers. I know you have asked me in the past to email you with my latest release date, but there are so many of you at this point, and the 'publisher' and I want to keep it under wraps for the time being. They say the best time to strike, or release a new book, is when the iron is hot, and right now the timing is cool, thanks to a very high-profile story taking readers attention away. Sorry not to be as forthcoming as I usually am with you, and thanks guys, thank you all for your loyal support over the years and for being so patient.

Okay, it may not be what you were expecting, Sadie book two, but here's just a teaser of what's to come!

Bundled in makeshift swaddling, hastily thrown together in a moment of heated distress, she placed her fingers to her lips and bent down and touched the bag; a gentle gesture of one last kiss between them. Warmth no longer emanated from the dormant form within; it lay quiet now, cold and stiff.

Cora shook so much her knees gave way and in fear of passing out and falling upon it she took a seat beside the bundle she'd set upon the wet ground,  Regaining her senses and usual cool composure, she assured herself no one was watching her. This was no time for hysterics or prying eyes.  Being the center of attention was a good thing  in her book; she thrived on it most of the time, but not now, not here, not without penalty. But she was safe, her secret shielded by the shrubs and overgrowth, not to mention the darkness of the moonless night that cloaked her as she stealthily resumed her daunting task.

Side note, if anyone is keeping track of the Caylee Anthony case, please email me!
